UNIMAID Post-UTME / DE Form 2024|University of Maiduguri

The University of Maiduguri has commenced processes for the admission of students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The UNIMAID Post-UTME / DE screening form is out and interested candidates are by this notice informed to purchase the form and process it to sit for this year’s Post-UTME exam.

It is important to know that the university is highly competitive and preparing very well for the post-UTME can be the secret you need to gain admission into the University regardless of how poor your JAMB score may be. The details of the post-utme exercise are as follows:

What are the dates for the UNIMAID post-UTME screening application

  • UNiMaid Post UTME/DE Screening Exercise will commence on Monday 19th August 2024
  • It will end at midnight on Sunday 20th September 2024.

Eligibility criteria for admission

  • Only UTME and DE candidates who selected the University of Maiduguri as their first choice during 2024 JAMB are eligible for the screening exercise.
  • UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 140 except for those courses for which higher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University Website.
  • Candidate must meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses and have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the 2024 JAMB Brochure.
  • Candidates who do not meet any of the above requirements will be allowed to change to another course whose requirements they meet.
  • All candidates must possess a minimum of 5 O’Level credits in subjects relevant to their proposed courses, including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. In addition, Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of lower credits at National and/or Higher National Diploma level(s) or Merit at NCE level.

How to apply for the UNIMAID post-UTME/DE screening form

  • Navigate to the UNIMAID Post UTME portal 
  • Use your UTME Number as both the username and password(Do not use capital letters where it is a small letter)
  • Provide a functional email address and phone number, then proceed to the payment section.
  • You will be redirected to the REMITA platform where you will make payment via card or bank deposit.
  • If you are using your ATM card for payment, a one-time password(OTP) will be sent to your registered phone and email to complete the transaction.
  • If you want to go to the bank and make the payment, then you will need to generate a payment slip with an RRR number.
  • After payment, return to the dashboard to verify it.
  • Your name and applied course will be displayed.
  • Fill in your biodata and next of kin details.
  • Enter your O’Level results, specifying the number of sittings (up to two). Direct Entry candidates must also provide details of their higher education certificates.
  • Scan and upload the required documents as mentioned earlier.
  • Carefully review your entries. Once everything is correct, click the ‘Submit’ button.
  • A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your application has been successfully submitted.
