Eligibility Criteria for LASUSTECH Post UTME Application

  • Only candidates who chose the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (as their first choice Institution in 2024/2025 UTME obtained a minimum of 180 UTME score, and possess the required U’Level subjects at credit level at not more than two (2) sittings are eligible for admission into the university
  • ALL Direct Entry candidates, who wish to be considered for admission into Lagos State University of Science and Technology for the 2024/2025 Academic Session, must have obtained a Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and must have chosen Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their First Choice Institution must apply for the screening
  • Only candidates of Lagos State Origin, for 100 level and Direct Entry, who have proven their claims successfully before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) set up by the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, will be allowed to participate in the Online Admission Screening Exercise.

How to apply for LASUSTECH POST-UTME

  • Ensure you meet the requirements for the screening exercise as outlined on the official website of the university.
  • Navigate to the official website using the button in this post.
  • Candidates are to make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2000.00) only to Lagos State University of Science and Technology through the official website of the university and follow the instructions as stated in the procedure for the LASUSTECH application for admission
  • Remember that everything about the registration is done on the official website. Do not fall victim of fraud.

Important dates for the screening exercise:

The two most important dates for the LASUSTECH screening exercise are midnight on Monday, 19th August 2024 (to commence the exercise) and on Friday, 30th August 2024 when it will end. All candidates interested in admission to the university are required to follow up with these dates.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements of the programme of his/her choice before completing the online application form
  • ALL candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
  • Please know that Direct Entry candidates must register for the admission screening exercise. The date for Interviews/Screening will be communicated to candidates through their registered phones and emails.
  • It is important to have a certificate that can authenticate your state of origin as it can also form the basis of giving admission the candidates who meet other requirements. The university has placed a high premium on the state which its students come from.
