The management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) wishes to inform the public, especially all the prospective candidates who have made the university their first choice in JAMB or direct entry to be aware of their sale of forms for the 2024 post-UTME exam.

Eligibility for 2024 Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) Post-UTME

There are three main areas of concern if you want to gain admission this year. These include that you must have the minimum cut-off mark, the university needs to be your first choice and also you need to have the required number of credit passes in your SSCE.

1. ONLY candidates who scored a minimum of 160 in their UTME and made FUTIA their First (1) choice are eligible to apply. The candidates interested in direct entry into the university, should have purchased the JAMB direct entry form and get it processed.
2. Making the university the first choice has a way of boosting your chances of gaining admission into the university. Therefore, if you already make her your second choice while applying for JAMB, you can still change that and make them your first choice to enhance your chances of gaining admission.
3. Candidates MUST have passed a minimum of 5 relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings including English and Mathematics.

FUTIA Post-UTME/DE REGISTRATION:

Online registration for the Screening Exercise will commence on Monday, August 19, 2024. This will last for four weeks to ensure that all interested candidates are duly registered.

How to register for the FUTIA Post-UTME exam

• Visit https://portal.futia.edu.ng and click on “Click here to apply”
• Click the Undergraduate link at the top menu bar
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Click on “Continue”
• Complete the basic information page (Enter only valid phone number and email address) and click next.
• On the payment review page, click “Make Payment” and this will take you to the payment page where you can provide your card details.
• Enter your ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) number and other details as appropriate and submit
• Enter the “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment.
• After a successful payment, click on “Main login” on the portal, enter your Jamb registration number and Surname as password
• Click on the “Login” button and complete your registration.
• Ensure you print the completed registration form and payment receipt.

Candidates with awaiting results may apply but must ensure that their O’Level (WAEC/NECO) results are uploaded appropriately at the JAMB Portal (CAPS) in a COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) CENTRE approved by JAMB.
