The Ebonyi State Union UK scholarship award was established in November 2014 to help indigent students who are indigenes of Ebonyi State access Higher Education in Nigeria. This money used to sponsor this scholarship is gotten from the members of this association who are interested in seeing their brothers at home do well academically.

They have decided to come in and support the brilliant students who understand what it takes to be successful educationally. The members of our union took this decision voluntarily and unanimously because they believe that Education is the key to success in life.

Ebonyi State Union UK Scholarship supports students who have demonstrated a commitment to study, have achieved positive academic records and are enrolled in Nigerian institutions of higher learning; but are facing financial hardships that make it difficult to pay for the cost of attending a University in their first year.

This scholarship/bursary can be applied toward any education-related costs, including textbooks, lab fees, uniforms, and any other fees associated with your studies. The details of the Award and other information about the ESU UK scholarship are provided below.

In 2016, this body offered scholarship slots to over 26 people who were selected to represent the 13 local governments in the state. It was enough to cushion the challenges students in high institutions experience due to a lack of funds.
