COOU Post-UTME/DE Form 2024 | Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University

The management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University wishes to inform the public about their post-UTME registration which has commenced and is currently ongoing. COOU Post-UTME receives applications from many interested candidates each year and this year many students have been waiting for this Post-UTME commencement. The COOU Post-UTME is scheduled to be for those with JAMB and those coming in for direct entry.

The university offers many courses as undergraduate programs and encourages everyone interested to apply through the portal and be ready for the process that will usher them into the institution as new students.

The cut-off mark for medicine, Law, Nursing, pharmacy, and Engineering:200+
The cut-off mark for other courses:150+
Post-UTME fee:N2000; non-refundable and paid through Remitta
Registration period:Screening: 15th – 31st August 2024

Eligibility criteria for admission into the COOU

To be eligible for COOU Post-UTME, you will need to meet up to the following:

  • Who made the University their First Choice Institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
  • Scored a minimum of 200 for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Scored a minimum of 50 for other Courses to apply for the 2024 Post UTME screening exercise. 
  • Have 5 credits including English and Mathematics and in the other three subjects necessary for your department of interest
  • Have good grades in your A-level

How to register for the COOU post-UTME

  • Go to http://portal.coou.edu.ng
  • Scroll down to the ‘Undergraduates’ section
  • Select ‘Generate Post UTME Invoice’
  • Enter JAMB Registration Number
  • Click on ‘Submit’ to generate an invoice
  • Proceed to any bank for payment N2000 registration fee in the bank or pay using your ATM Card.
  • Return to the portal
  • Scroll down to the ‘Undergraduates’ section
  • Select ‘Fill Post UTME Application Form’ and re-enter JAMB registration number
  • Click on the ‘Login’ button to fill in the required fields, submit and print the slip
